Back to Softball!

Went down to NJC for an alumni vs current players friendly match. I thought that it was going to be like a normal training, but when I went down, I was super surprised to see SO MANY PEOPLE there! There were players from STC and Avengers etc here to play as well! They played 2 matches of 5 innings each, but Ah Man and I left after the 1st match :) Hahaha, there were so many players so we weren't really needed there haha.

We headed down to The Grandstand @ Turf City because Ryan Yuan had a booth there to raise funds for a CIP project organised by his Med School! Haha, but when we went there, we realised that he's actually at a soccer match so didn't get to meet him LOL.

After that, we went to Beauty World to eat because I really wanted to try the gan lao mian (干捞面)! This is really good! The noodles was kind of springy and chewy, and the sauce was sweet and spicy! It tasted super shiok! I loved the spice. We felt that it was rather similar to the Samyang Ramen noodles actually! (in terms of how it's spicy and sweet) The kind of satisfaction you get from the Samyang Ramen noodles... you can get it from this stall as well :) I think this is probably much healthier than the Samyang noodles because I would think that this noodles is fresher?
