Bakeries in Sri Lanka

I got the opportunity to visit bakeries around Colombo and Negombo to learn more about the bakery industry in Sri Lanka and the manufacturing process! It's quite an interesting experience as I got to see both the traditional baking methods (using firewood oven) to mechanised baking (using machines) to large scale industrial baking. Here are some photos from some of the bakeries I visited! Didn't include all as there are too many!

Traditional firewood oven - they would place firewood inside and burn the firewood. After the ashes settle down, they would take out the firewood and place the pan inside to bake the bread!
