Discovering Hualien' Beauty

My sister and brother-in-law will be in Taiwan from 1 Jan to 7 Jan! Yay :) Took a train down to Hualien Train Station to meet them. We rented a taxi for the entire day to drive us around Taroko Gorge 太魯閣國家公園 as it would allow us to see more of the different sights in Taroko Gorge in the limited time that we have. I have been very excited for this trip as I have heard so much about how beautiful Taroko Gorge is! The best part though, is not about the beauty of the place, but the company that I have. Never had much opportunity to travel with my family so I really treasured and enjoyed this trip!

After touring around Taroko Gorge, we got the driver to send us to Ziqiang Night Market 自强夜市. We decided to start by ordering all sorts of barbequed food in skewers (chicken, mushroom etc) from one of the famous stall! The waiting time was crazy (about 30-45 minutes). So in the meantime, we walked around the entire night market, and tried out the different food - wrap 春卷, coffin bread etc. The night market was really small so we finished walking around the whole place while waiting for our barbequed skewers! Sat outside 7-11 to eat our food as there was no place to seat near the stall selling barbequed food. No photos taken at Ziqiang Night Market because eating is more important than taking photos :)
