Some of my friends might know, I started to exercise almost everyday during my 4 months in Taiwan. Ran on the treadmill in the gym really often. I decided to sign up for a 10km run in Taiwan, because it sounded fun!
Woke up super duper early in the morning to get to the event venue. It was freeeezing in the morning and I really did not want to remove my jeans to warm up! I just wanted to stay warm so badly. But as the time for the flag off was nearing, I had no choice but to remove my jeans as well as my jacket. Haha, thankfully, after starting to run, I did not feel warm at all.
It was my first time running such a race and it was fun! My timing was 1 hour which is my personal best! I even managed to win some medals and a big hamper because I was one of the fastest few girls! Haha, I don't think the timing is good if I were to run this timing in Singapore. But I think I managed to come in as one of the top few because there weren't many serious or competitive runners in this race! Anyway, medal or no medal, it was a good experience. I didn't have a watch so I just ran at my own pace without knowing the timing! Not sure if it is a good or bad thing...
