First place for the day was Tanayiku, which is walking distance from Saviki village. I remembered spending a lot of time here last time, by the river. Tanayiku is less well-known as compared to the Alishan National Scenic Area but it's really beautiful as well! You get to watch local aboriginal dance performances here as well.

Tanayiku first became famous when it was known to have Ku Fishes in its rivers. Many tourists came here just to see them. However, a huge part of Tanayiku got destroyed during the typhoon and they have been trying to rebuild it. I don't think you get to see the Ku Fishes there anymore, but it's still worth a visit for the scenery and aboriginal culture.

In the afternoon, we headed to Fenqihu and it's my first time there! It's like a old street (similar to jiufen). There were a lot of food stalls selling snacks as well as wasabi, tea leave etc. I bought some snacks as well as tea leaves to bring back as gifts.

We decided to try some donuts 甜甜圈. OMG it's the freaking best donuts I've ever had. I didn't really have any expectations for this before eating it... But after eating it... Damn, it's real good! You got to try it when you're there.
