Started the day by visiting Cornwall Park. The hill was originally called One Tree Hill because there was a solitary tree which grew on the summit. However, that tree was cut down in 1852 by a party of workmen who were angry at the non-arrival of rations. Sadly, attempts to regrow another tree there has failed.

After that, we visited Mount Eden. At the summit, there was the crater of a dormant volcano which I was really impressed by! The view from Mount Eden is also really nice!

We then headed to Auckland Domain, which is the oldest park in Auckland. Over there, we visited the Wintergardens (greenhouse).

After that, we went to Parnell Street, Auckland's oldest suburb. There were many boutique shops and cafes and we got hot chocolate and cheesecake in one of the cafes. The hot chocolate was really thick!

We also visited Mission Bay, one of the seaside suburbs.
